Alan Bond’s ‘Portal’ was originally influenced by the RSA building and shown at this years SSA Annual Exhibition.

Bond is currently showing’ Portal’ together with drawings based on hunters treehouses in a group show, ‘Drawn to Nature’, at the Rabely Drawing Centre.

‘In its new outdoor environment it becomes re-contextualised, functioning as of a folly in the landscape rather than an archaeological site, as it did in Edinburgh.’

The Rabley Drawing Centre, on the Wiltshire Downs near Marlborough, Wiltshire, was established in 2005. The Gallery and Drawing School has developed an International reputation for its exhibitions and unique range of Art courses specialising in drawing and printmaking.
