Personal Statement
My works relate to my experience of growing up in Hong Kong, a place characterized by its East-meets-West style and rapid pace of change. They reflect not only my personal circumstances but also my views towards the Chinese culture and the women roles in Hong Kong. By remodeling western classical images and Chinese motifs into new symbolic order, I create my coded autobiography.
