David Hutchison

Multimedia artist: painting, animation, video, sculpture, writing. Originally from Assynt in Sutherland but now based in Edinburgh. Themes include genetics, new technology, creation myths , gaelic music and legends, recycling, kitsch.
Post grad in Electronic Imaging, Duncan of Jordanston College of Art in Dundee in 1996.
In 1997 I won a Computer Arts award and trained in digital animation at Silicon Studios, Soho, London.
In 2003 I trained in Maya Animation at Escape Studios, London with the help of a grant from the Scottish Arts Council.
