A graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College, Dundee, in Drawing and Painting Liz Murray is a professional member of the RSW and SSA and is a regular exhibitor at the RSA, RSW, SSA, AAS and RGI.
 
Statement

'My painting is primarily about imagined glimpses of others’ lives, memories and secrets…..torn fragments, hidden layers, intimate histories. Journals, apprentices’ manuals and the very personal nature of old quilts provide much of the stimulus for my work.'
