ESSA Small Artworks Sale

Wednesday 1st – Sunday 5th August 2012
Wednesday 1pm – 6pm, Thursday – Sunday 10am – 6pm
Traverse Theatre Atrium Level, 10 Cambridge Street (Off Lothian Road), Edinburgh, EH1 2ED

A selling exhibition of small artworks donated by members of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (RSW), The Society of Scottish Artists (SSA) and Visual Arts Scotland (VAS). All proceeds will be put towards the cost of the three societies’ Annual Exhibitions held jointly in Scotland’s most esteemed arts venue, The Royal Scottish Academy Building on The Mound in Edinburgh. The costs of these pivotal exhibitions in the years’ arts events calendar amount to thousands of pounds each year, so please show your support for the Scottish Arts by joining us at the Traverse Theatre’s Atrium level.

You could pick up a big name for a cut price, or invest in an upcoming artist, a star of the future. Prices range from as little as £20 to around £250. On display will be a full range of disciplines from watercolours and oils, through print, drawings and the applied arts, from both emerging artists and established names.

Participating artists include Anda Paterson, Joyce Gunn Cairns, Janet Melrose, Madeleine Davenport, John Busby, Jim Dunbar, Charmian Pollok, Kenny Munro, Kenneth Le Riche, Peter Standen and Alison Dunlop to name just a small handful.

We look forward to seeing you there.

The exhibition is free to enter and all artworks can be taken away on purchase.
ESSA would like to thank the Traverse Theatre for supporting this exhibition.
