The subject of my sculpture is usually the animal world but it is about much more than that. I use scrap metal and love welding. I live remotely and so can't fail to be affected by the changing seasons and the wildlife that brings. Drawing and observation are critical in my work.
I was born in Roslin but long before Dolly the sheep. I studied sculpture at Gray's School of art at a time when drawing was considered to be very important. I live and work in an old steading on a hillside near Strathdon.
