My work attempts to examine cultural symbolism from both modern and ancient worlds, communicating observations and ideas by creating an autonomous visual language. Working across painting, collage, printmaking and video, I intuitively filter fragments of primitivism and memory into the works, with a nod to Scottish geology and folklore.
I graduated from DJCAD in 2011 and currently work from my studio in Glasgow. My work has been exhibited in galleries across London, Toronto, Copenhagen, Glasgow & Edinburgh. I also continue to work freelance for a wide variety of clients and am involved in community development projects. I have previously been a guest lecturer at Gray's School of Art and teach part time at City of Glasgow College.
