I enjoy working with mixed media; oil, acrylic, photograph, print. My subject matter is usually landscape, although it can encompass the internal landscape of cells, soils, topography and geology. Occasionally figurative and often with place in mind.

After a BA( hons), Biology with Dip Ed in education I taught for many years. During this time I lived in West Stirlingshire where I brought up my family. I have been a part - time artist since 1992 and participated in mixed exhibitions, two man exhibitions as well as having a solo exhibition in the 90's.
In 2007 I left teaching to devote my time to art and started the Part -time degree in Art and Design at Edinburgh College of Art. I joined the full time 'Painting' course as a third year student in September 2012. I also had a solo exhibition in Whitespace, Gayfield Square . 6-13 October. 2012.
