Ros's aim is to achieve bold, punchy pieces of abstract naturalism. She graduated in Display and Exhibition Design in 1972 from DCC. She works mainly in acrylic ink and is inspired by the beauty of her native Angus, but loves the West coast. She tries to achieve an individual approach to her work and enjoys experimenting with textures and colour reflecting the seasons. She also has a quirky fun approach to her print work that often features the seaside and her garden birds.
