THE PAPER ART ACADEMY 2013

The SSA has been invited to be a partner-organisation in an exciting international project, The Paper Art Academy, 2013 along with the Amateras Foundation from Bulgaria and artists organisations from Hungary and Sweden. This project will bring together artists from the partner countries and will exhibit their works in different venues within each country, starting with exhibitions in Sofia, Bulgaria to run at the same time as the Biennial. This should be a really exciting experience for all concerned as well as flying the flag for the SSA. Funding is being sought from the EU. As part of the reciprocal stages of the project, each partner country will host exhibitions of the artists’ works. The SSA is in the midst of organising a touring exhibition within Scotland. Dates and venues will be announced when all is finalized.
