SSA Archive | Society of Scottish Artists

Keen to revive interest in the content and enormous value of the Society’s archive, Louise Ritchie (President) organised a recent visit to look at some of the material which is held at Modern Two. With the help of the Archivist, Kirstie Meehan, Louise, Julia Douglas (SSA Administrator) and Norman McBeath (Professional member) looked at a wide range of material, including an exquisitely produced booklet from 1892 which was the first SSA Annual Exhibition Catalogue.
