Andrew Phillips has a selection of drawings on display at Detail Framing,  Edinburgh throughout September.

‘Of all Nature’s forms, Mountains especially remind us of our capacity for awe, as they exist between the finite and the eternal — the threshold of the known and unknown. These drawings inhabit this imaginal space, responding to the presence of the physical world, and an inner, more intangible expression of mystery. The work is in part a conversation, a way of sensing and engaging with the ‘skull beneath the skin’ of landscape, intended to court images that allow for the land itself to speak.’ – Andrew Phillips
