If you are making or interested in artists moving image then do join us for a meet up and discussion around ways in which artists themselves can generate a supportive environment and new opportunities.
Facilitated by CutLog member Pernille Spence and with input from Su Grierson for CutLog and Jason Moyes for MIMC in Hawick and SSA President Sharon Quigley, we invite artists to contribute their ideas and thoughts around such topics as the role of networking and group connections, working with other organisations, what we can realistically expect from voluntary committees, where we stand within funding streams, how can we develop international networks and how we might share useful information. And any other issues that artists wish to highlight.
Come along at 4.30pm to view some of the works, and meet up over a tea or coffee. Discussion will take place between 5.30pm and 6.45pm.
