The Society of Scottish Artists presents, Exquisite Corpse a body of SSA Members and invited artist’s work, curated by Katharine Aarrestad SSA and Paul Charlton SSA, to be hosted by St Andrews Art Gallery and Museum.

Call for Entries

*SSA Members are invited to submit proposals for new works or propose existing works in all mediums, in response to Exquisite Corpse:-

To have the daily miracle, we cannot turn that into a game or can we? Do you dare to go into the unknown?

At the centre of it all, at some future period, the mystery of all things will be created. The act of imagination is the opening, where man alone can leave traces; where the forms of bodies can be the inception of everything.

But what if we and the rest of the backboned animals were to disappear overnight? The living bodies of caterpillars could sail majestically into this pond to succeed where magic has failed.

Perhaps the strangeness of all of this will wear off.

*Non-members can become members in order to enter work. To become a member, please visit: www.s-s-a.org/membership/join-us
