MEMBER SPOTLIGHT | DREW THOMSON

The Society of Scottish Artists is made up of a broad and vibrant community of artists. In order to highlight the work of our members, we have introduced a monthly member spotlight where one SSA Member is selected at random to be featured across our website and social media channels.
This month’s spotlighted member is Artist Member, Drew Thomson.
Drew Thomson is a portrait and figurative artist based in Glasgow, Scotland. Working primarily in Oil’s, Drew has recently exhibited at The Royal Institute of Portrait Painters, the NEAC, the SSA and Scottish Portrait awards, as well as appearing as a contestant on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year.
Drew studied Design at Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen. Since then he has focused on Fine Art and works from his home studio in the South Side of Glasgow.
