I am inspired by the everyday. I am drawn to themes of people, places and objects. I am interested in the stories we collect, relationships we form and spaces that we occupy. Therefore my work is a response to my surrounding – the people, animals, life that I see around me. I like to re look at the everyday, ugly or beautiful. I enjoy both the technical & creative process of print but also like exploring other mediums to create a desired image.

I was born and brought up in India, where I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. In 2007 I came to Edinburgh to pursue a masters in Illustration at the Edinburgh college of Art. Since then I have done a short stint at teaching printmaking at Winchester college before returning to Edinburgh, which I consider my home. I am a printmaker, and have a keen interest in the field of illustration, design, public and community arts.
