I am an interdisciplinary artist but mainly work in collage, photography and neon installation. My work is concerned with Feminism, gender identity, poverty and inequality with an overarching focus on the role of the maternal.

Lauren is a Scottish interdisciplinary artist based in Edinburgh. She graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art with BA (Hons) Fine Art in 2012, preceded by HND Contemporary Art Practice at Edinburgh College. Lauren's work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and her neon 'A Conflict of Interests' (2016) is held in The Birth Rites Collection, housed within Kings College London. Her upcoming residency at King's College Department of Midwifery has been funded by The Eaton Fund, The Hope Scott Trust and The Birth Rites Collection. The residency project will see Lauren work with the midwifery department to produce a new series of neon's.
