I am an architect, so I have always had a strong interest in art and design, not that this was easy to pursue in the demanding reality of the construction world – deadlines and details take over.
Having managed to escape from this a few years ago I have been able to open myself up to so much that I have missed.
I have attended various classes and workshops and have enjoyed it all so much, even being pushed again for hand-ins!
I am still amazed at how much more I see in everything around me, shape, form, colour, so much interest and beauty – so much fascination and frustration in trying to bring some of it into my work!
I’m working in various media, in drawing and painting and particularly in all kinds of landscapes.
