Working with the archeologists made me aware of the importance of found objects to support scientific theories or force the reconsideration of them. In an inspired moment I had the vision of exploring the uncharted continent of 'Naboland' with the help of the little toy submarine Like the archeologists I would look for proof of its existence through more found objects and other visual references. The continent of the mind has since then found its materialisation in many drawings etchings paintings and atmospheric installations, that I have exhibited in both Scotland and abroad Travels to Nepal, Italy, Spain, Iceland and Norway contributed to the ever increasing 'Body of Evidence' for the existence of Naboland as much as beach combing walks along the local shore in Pittenweem in Fife, my living and working base for the past ten years.
