The West Coast of Scotland where I was born and have now returned to live is the inspiration for my works. My coastal, sky and seascapes are totally influenced by the elements here. The power and the variation of the seasonal weather patterns are the influences for everything I paint. There is no greater feeling than watching a good west coast storm or a magnificent sunset. And to interpret those images in a way which is personal to me.

Born on the Island of Bute, educated at Rothesay Academy and Glasgow College of Commerce in journalism. Returned to my first love, Art, 16 years ago. And enjoy renewing art studies at Glasgow School of Art.
