I am Scottish artist and educator based in Glasgow. I work in a range of mediums and materials to create unique landscapes based on the colours, shapes and atmosphere of the environments I experience. My work is inspired by the colours and textures of the west coast of Scotland where I spent my childhood.

Sea and sky are prominent. In my landscape painting I try to capture the light, the waves and the sense of the big skies and seas that you only find on beaches in Scottish coastal beaches.

I have spent most of my career working in universities both as a researcher and lecturer and I am still an active consultant in the field of digital education. I balance this with developing my progress as an artist.
