Satellite Associates
The SSA would like to invite expressions of interest from members for a new role within the Society.
We are initially looking for two members from each of the following Scottish regions to be part of our extended council. Due to the diverse nature of creativity across Scotland, our council members are not always able to attend exhibitions, openings and events in these regions. Over the next few years, the Society is aiming to expand our outreach across Scotland, hosting a series of “off-site” exhibitions, and we will be looking for assistance from our members in each region.
We are looking for associates from all parts of Scotland, but particularly welcome applications from:
Highlands (particularly Caithness and Sutherland)
Northern Isles
Western Isles
Argyll & Bute
Inverness & Moray
Aberdeen & North East Scotland
Dundee & Angus
Perthshire & Fife
Lothians & Scottish Borders
Dumfries & Galloway
Ayrshire & Arran
Central Scotland
The role would involve assisting the Council with your knowledge of the local art scene and being able to attend events and exhibition openings on behalf of the Society. This role would suit members who already take an active role in their local art community and who would be interested in engaging further with our membership.
