I am interested in depicting human emotions through our connection with the natural world.

My new collection of work has been inspired by The poems of Kabril Gibran and is a representation of sexuality, love and loss, through the female nude and the depths of the ocean.

Sea creatures used a metaphor for the different stages and relationships of life which we go through. It’s a personal reflection but one that translates universally and the viewer can interpret the narrative for themselves.

Using contemporary fashion photography and studio models I play with space on the paper changing the context and mood, which can appear surreal with the odd juxtaposition of sea shells, corals and other elements of Ocean life.
