MEMBER SPOTLIGHT | Hetty Haxworth

The Society of Scottish Artists is home to a diverse and dynamic community of artists. To showcase the work of our members, we’ve launched a monthly member spotlight, where one SSA Member is chosen at random to be featured on our website and social media. This month, we are excited to highlight Artist Member, Hetty Haxworth.

Hetty Haxworth studied at the Glasgow School of Art and has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad for the past 30 years. Her work has been shown at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Royal Scottish Academy and the Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts, The Scottish Society of Artists and selected touring shows to Ohio, Australia, LA, Denmark and Brussels. She now lives and works from a studio in rural Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Hear about Hetty’s practice in her own words below.

Hetty will be showing work in ‘New Visions’ at the Graystone Gallery in Edinburgh from 30 January 2026 until 21 February 2026.
