My practice playfully engages with notions of place, narrative and perception, whilst considering visual language and symbolic systems through varying degrees of abstraction.  I work in a range of mediums including printmaking, collage, drawing and moving image.

Originally from Fife, I graduated from DJCAD in 2006 and now work from my studio in Edinburgh.

I have worked on a broad range of projects including residencies (Eigg, Skye, London), education, community initiatives and commissions - including freelance illustration and animation work. I have presented solo exhibitions at Edinburgh Printmakers (Debris and Phenomena, 2015) and House of Illustration, London (Mapping King’s Cross, 2016) and regularly participate in group shows/projects.

I was recently awarded the Jon Schueler Scholarship Visual Artist in Residence at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, Skye which involved a three month residency and culminated in the exhibition Passing Place in early 2018.
