The views of the sea, the sky and the coast are particularly inspiring, as well as the natural forms of plants, whilst my architectural training means I also find inspiration in the built environment. Quirky details appeal to me – reflections and odd juxtapositions - I like to see the smaller as well as the bigger picture.
I work in a variety of media, but I am currently mainly working in acrylics, pen & ink, and mixed media/collage.


Born in the Netherlands, grew up in Aberdeen. Dip Arch and BSc (Hons) from Scott Sutherland School of Architecture. Now living and painting in North Berwick, East Lothian.
