My work explores the wonder and variety of the natural world. Discovering fascinating details, textures and shapes through the process of drawing. The natural objects I choose to draw are also a vehicle for expressing feelings and ideas around mankind's place within the world influenced by my interest in stories and myths.

I live and work on a remote peninsula in the North West Coast of Scotland, surrounded by mountains and the sea.
I trained as an artist, gaining a degree in Fine Art and worked in galleries and museums before completing my teacher training in London where I worked for 2 years. I have always maintained my drawing even when teaching full time or travelling abroad.
Now I am lucky enough now to be able to devote most of my time to my art and my five year old son.
