Statement

Statement

Cherish is a mixed media artist, who’s work explores the complexities of trauma, the multi-faceted nature of human experience and the expression of sexuality. Through her art, she seek to create a dialogue around these themes, allowing the viewer to reflect on their own experiences and emotions.

Through her paintings and sculptures, she  presents a seemingly innocent perspective on life that is imbued with darker undertones for the perceptive viewer to uncover. Her works exude a playful demeanor at first glance, yet they leave a haunting feeling that lingers.

Cherish works aims to convey a sense of beauty and meaning that speaks to the human experience and the complexity of being alive..
