Statement

Statement

I work as a Printmaker and Collage Artist.

Some of my pieces are stand-alone prints such as Collagraphs or Drypoint Etchings. However I also use a wide range of printing techniques to produce papers specifically for my Collage work.

My style is abstract with strong references to landscape, coastlines and architecture. I continue to experiment with combinations of Collage and Print

Studied Sculpture at Edinburgh College of Art 1975-1979

Teaching Diploma at Moray House 1979-1980

Taught Art full time then intermittently till 2000

Studied Garden Design, Developed and ran Linda MacKinnon Garden Design till 2018

During this period I worked with print and collage and took part in many group exhibitions in East Lothian

I am now able to concentrate solely on my own artwork where I continue to experiment with mark making, printmaking techniques, colour, texture and composition.

I primarily exhibit work at Number Four Gallery in St Abbs
