I am a completely self taught artist and started drawing at a very early age, always with a focus on wildlife. I continued to paint and draw during my life whenever I had the time, but other things got in the way as they tend to do, and I only made the decision to change to art as a career in 2021.

Over the years I’ve tried different media but have always been drawn to black and white art, which can be so eye-catching and expressive. I mainly use graphite and carbon pencil drawing to achieve the look I want. I have always had a keen interest in and knowledge of the natural world, which led me to study zoology at university and so wildlife drawing enables me to combine two of my greatest passions.
