Shifting Centres

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we have had no other option but to postpone this exhibition opportunity until 2021. Please find the new details below and keep an eye out for the open call relaunching next year.

A Society of Scottish Artists Members’ Exhibition at Resipole Studios

The Society of Scottish Artists are delighted to announce a new collaboration with Resipole Studios, Argyll. Shifting Centres will be part of a series of members’ satellite shows across Scotland, which highlight SSA dedication to continually supporting their membership by creating increased exhibition opportunities, whilst building on existing and new relationships, with galleries outwith the central belt.

Since its launch, Resipole Studios continues to present work by artists of many disciplines, with Scotland as their key focus. The gallery is regarded as one of Scotland’s leading contemporary art spaces and, consequently, in 2016 was selected to show work by the late, American abstract-expressionist, Jon Schueler to mark the centenary of his birth.

Open for entries: Saturday 16 January, 2020
Entry deadline: Thursday 22 April 2020, midnight

Resipole Studios is an award-winning fine art gallery located on the West Coast of Scotland. The unique exhibition space hosts an exciting annual programme of exhibitions and workshops of Scottish contemporary art that is both emerging and established.
