In the catalogue of the above named exhibition, currently on show in Tate Modern, London, until 9 March 2014, on page 167 can be found the following details:

1934
“Twenty-five works then travelled (from Mayor Gallery, London) to Edinburgh in December to be shown in the Society of Scottish Artists’ Exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy.”

It also notes that ‘Threatening Snowstorm’ was purchased by Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh.
